This medication is used to treat Iron deficiency anemia.
Consult your doctor/Pharmacist if you have, Hemochromatosis, Hemosiderosis. Tell your doctor/Pharmacist your medical history of, Use/abuse of alcohol, Liver problems, Stomach/intestinal problems, e.g., Ulcer, Colitis, Pernicious anemia before taking it. Folic acid may affect certain laboratory tests for vitamin B12 deficiency without treating this anemia. Untreated vitamin B12 deficiency may result in Peripheral neuropathy.
Constipation,Diarrhea, Stomach cramps, or Upset stomach may occur.
