It is used along with a proper diet to help lower "bad" cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.

A high level of Cholesterol in the blood may lead to several fatal diseases. Lipiget Tablets work effectively to prevent and control such diseases by lowering the cholesterol level in the blood. Lipiget Tablet is used to:

Decrease the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as Heart attacks and strokes.
Atherosclerosis
High blood pressure
Diabetes
Obesity
Peripheral Arterial disease

Storage

Lipiget Tablets should be stored at room temperature, not exceeding 30c. It should be kept in a dry place, away from moisture and excessive heat. Make sure to keep out of reach of children.

Dizziness

GIT upset
Gastric Ulceration
Vomiting
Epistaxis (nose bleeding)
Arthralgia (joint pain)
Allergic reactions
Abnormal liver function testDyspepsia
Some patients might experience gastrointestinal disturbances.
Fatigue (tiredness)
Nausea
Vomiting
Hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar levels)
Myalgia (muscle pain)
Increased blood creatine kinase

Lipiget Tablet in Pregnancy

Lipiget tablets are not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly needed and if your doctor specifically prescribes it.
Lipiget Tablets should not be given in labor and delivery.
Lipiget tablets should not be given to mothers who are nursing their infants.
