Tagamet tablet belongs to the category of medicines known as Histamine H2 Antagonists. It is used to treat digestive tract and intestinal issues. Excess of stomach acid sometimes causes oesophagus and stomach problems. This medication is used to treat such conditions. The active ingredient present in this medicine is Cimetidine. 

Uses

• It is used to reduce stomach acid, excess stomach acid causes heartburn. It helps reduce stomach acidity.
