Vibramycin Uses

The medication is used for the treatment of bacterial infection, including urinary tract infection (UTI), gum diseases, and also to treat acne. The medicine is also used in the prevention of malaria. To prevent malaria, the medicine should be taken before going to a malaria-affected area. Continue using it on a daily basis as long as you stay. This medication is only for oral use.

Tell your doctor/pharmacist, if you have history of: Trouble swallowing, Esophagus problems (such as hiatal hernia or reflux/heartburn).

Before starting to use this medicine, inform your doctor regarding any prevailing health condition. Inform them if you're breastfeeding or pregnant as these factors affect the usage and dose of medicine.
This form of doxycycline is only to be treated rosacea. It shouldn’t be used to treat active skin allergies.
Many antibiotics cease the effectiveness of birth control pills. Consult your doctor before starting this medicine regarding birth control.
Many people have complained about esophagus injury after using this medicine. To avoid this situation, take plenty of water with it and do not lie down immediately.
Doxycycline might increase blood pressure. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any signs of concern, e.g. blurred vision.
People with prevailing liver and kidney problems have a higher chance of getting side effects. Inform your doctor about your medical conditions to avoid any complications.
The medicine shouldn’t be used if you have stomach problems or had stomach surgeries.
